Why partner with Walk2Connect?
We focus on human connection and whole-health outcomes, not just miles or step counts. We emphasize the many ways people form connections with one another, with ourselves and with the places we live at a 1-3 mile-per-hour pace.
Our partnerships are successful because we create opportunities and environments where people can come together and feel connected, safe, respected and inspired. We help individuals and groups stay active and engaged not only as walkers, but also as walk leaders and walking advocates who give back to their communities.
Bring our unique approach to your organization.
Work with us to build a walking program that helps your employees, colleagues, communities and groups become more connected to themselves, more engaged with each other and more productive (with the added bonus of adding a health habit to their day).
We will come to your organization, listen to your needs, and develop a connection-focused walking program that suits your culture. We’ll help your community connect to the benefits of walking meetings, walking breaks, walking retreats and walking relationships at your location.
With your input, we’ll develop programming that involves walk leader training, walking route research and development, connection-focused walking campaign construction and many additional invitations to inspire a local and regional walking culture that encourages people to connect, break down barriers, and activate wellness.
In addition, your new walking groups will have access to our resource database, movement-building tools and peer-to-peer networks for sharing stories, questions and successes with other walking movement leader communities so they sustain the walking habit.
Our services include, but are not limited to:
- Walking leader training and development
- Route building and custom walking experiences
- Storytelling and outreach training
- Launching connection-focused walking communities
- Speeches, presentations and retreats
- Walkable Community Education, maps and walking festivals
- Grassroots movement building around walking and walkability
We meet you where you are.
Whether it’s a one-time walk with your colleagues or conference attendees or a full scope of work launching a new connection-focused self-sustaining walking community, we’re ready to work with you.
