TYPE: STSP Weekly (for January & February) | PACE: Gentle & Conversational |TERRAIN: Paved, Park Path, Gravel, Broken Sidewalk | DISTANCE: Approx. 1-2 miles or less
Walk Description: Together with GirlTrek, Montbello 20/20 (RNO) and Northeast Transportation Connections, we’re kicking off the 1st, 2nd and 4th Tuesday in January and February at 11:00 am to Noon, for a walk with our senior living community at Volunteers of America’s Montbello Manor. This is going to be a fun and dynamite opportunity to walk and chat with seniors in the Montbello community. We will have a different themed walk each Tuesday (Low down dirty Blues, Jazz, Salsa and combined walks with students for the week of Valentines). Our purpose for these walks is to bring hope, health and community engagement into the lives of our seniors. The walks may break for March-May but the plan is to resume them in June. We will keep you posted.
If you need to call me you can reach me on my cell (720.620.5735). I hope to see you there!
