Walk Descripition: Do you like to walk? Are you interested in connecting with new people? Then join us and like minded people for a walk around Uplands and Prairie Basin Parks. Uplands and Prairie Basin Parks are located in the Conservatory Green neighborhood of Stapleton. Conservatory Green is located north of Interstate 70 and the Shops at Northfield Stapleton. StapletonWalks hosts a weekly 60 minute walk around Uplands and Prairie Basin Parks. The walk is free and everyone is invited. We really hope you will join us. It will be a great opportunity to get some exercise and connect with new people. This is an approximately 3.0 mile walk on paved sidewalks and gravel paths. We walk at a brisk fitness pace moving 3-4 mph so please be sure you are comfortable, only stopping to cross the street when indicated. You can exit the walk at any time if needed. Just inform me that you will be leaving the group.
Waking Movement Leader: If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at StapletonWalks@gmail.com.
Parking & Meeting Spot: There is plenty of free street parking. Please plan to meet us at the fire pit in Conservatory Green Park. The fire pit is located on the south side of 49th Place between Valentia Court and Valentia Street. We’ll do a quick warm-up and complete Welcome Waivers, if needed (see below). We will start walking no later than 4:30 p.m. We should easily complete the walk by 5:30 p.m.
