Hogback Ridge Loop Hike (Boulder)

April 25 @ 10:00 am - 11:45 am

  • TYPE: One-time hike | PACE: Fitness | TERRAIN: Paved multi-use path, dirt trail | DISTANCE: Approx. 3 miles with 900 feet of elevation gain

    Walking Movement Leaders: Lorrie Johnson and Barbara Gordon are new to north Boulder and love sharing its beautiful trails with other hikers.

    Schedule, Planning and Transit: We will meet at Four Mile Creek Trailhead on Lee Hill Road. The Skip bus stops right nearby on Broadway, so please consider taking transit to meet us.

    Trip Notes:

    ~ We will begin walking at 10:05, so please arrive on time.
    ~ Be sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, sun protection and wear appropriate gear/clothing for the season.
    ~ Dogs are not permitted on this trail.

    Cancellation Policy: This walk will only be canceled in the event of extreme weather conditions. Check Meetup or text the walk leader for the most up-to-date conditions.

    Welcome Waivers: Please fill out the online “Welcome Waiver” or download, print, sign, and turn in a hard copy if this will be your first Walk2Connect walking experience this year.

    Colorado-based Walk2Connect works with individuals and organizations to create whole-health outcomes through innovative walking programs focused on connecting to others, to place and to self. Our Boulder community, Boulder Ramblers, offers a variety of local walks and hikes led by trained volunteer Walking Movement Leaders in Boulder, Longmont and Louisville. We also partner with GO Boulder to develop walking events that orient community members to the city’s pedestrian facilities and invite feedback about them. Across the Front Range, W2C principals and trained volunteer Walking Movement Leaders lead dozens of free community walks every week.
