About: Darcy Kitching is a native Coloradan who grew up hiking and walking in nature with her family. She still enjoys a good, long hike deep in any kind of forest as a great way to stay fit and escape the cares of the world, but she also loves discovering the aesthetic, cultural and natural elements that make cities walkable and enjoyable. As an urban planner, educator and photographer, Darcy values community-oriented places where people can walk, learn and relax together. She is a proud founding professional member of the Walk2Connect Cooperative. Find her in Boulder walking with her son and bringing people together on neighborhood, open-space and longer-distance walks around the county!
